This Rotary Joint is characterized by having two RF channels that operates in the Ku-band with 400 MHz bandwidth, and a third coaxial channel that supports both a DC signal and a RF signal with 200 MHz bandwidth in the Ku band. The electrical interface is coaxial for all the three channels, with a VSWR of 1.4 and an Insertion Loss of 1.1dB. A 50 dB isolation between the channels is provided.
This multichannel Rotary Joint works over three different frequency channels: the first one is a waveguide X Band channel, the second is a coaxial L band channel, the third one is a coaxial channel that supports both X Band and L band. It is integrated with a Slip Ring.
